Fuck it.
Hi-dee-hi
Milk and honey
It ain't the money
Now we know
Doing lines, aint it funny
That it ain't the money
Now we know
Rap
Hi-dee-hi
Lo-dee-lo
Get up and go
To the show
Every time I get low
I get up and go
To the show
Rap
Bet you're giving head to a movie star
Bet you're gonna love me riding in your car
Bet you got a TV built in your jet skis
Bet you're giving head to a movie star
Bet you're gonna love me riding in your car
Bet you got a TV built in your jet skis
Hi-dee-hi
Lo-dee-lo
Get up and go
To the show
Ain't it funny how the money makes the honey
Taste like nothing you can't have no more
Ain't it funny how the money makes the honey
Taste like nothing you can't have no more
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh....
Peace of mind
Feel my tummy
It ain't the money
Now we know
Hard to find

The Song:"It Ain't the Money" is a song from Macy Gray's album,
The Trouble With Being Myself. The album comes out in May 2003, and Beck recorded his part sometime in 2002. How did Beck get involved with Gray? Much of the album was written with Justin Meldal-Johnsen and Victor Indrizzo, both of whom were in Beck's band on the
Midnite Vultures tour.
Beck's contribution was basically just to mimic Gray's vocals and lyrics on the verses. He also does the whole "ain't it funny how the money..." line which is repeated throughout. Beck sings in a deep voice, which is a huge contrast from Gray's high voice. Very cool, funky song.
